Making A Wooden radio flyer toddler scooter

Wooden radio flyer toddler scooter will be a classic present to give to your dearest children. You probably can simply buy a manufactured scooter, but to make your own wooden radio flyer toddler scooter will make your children not only feel the affection of their parents, but also make you be able to give the best for them. To make a wooden radio flyer toddler scooter is not hard, it needs more strength and patience.

Preparation
To start making wooden radio flyer toddler scooter, you will have to prepare these items. 2 foot boards, 3 foot boards (you can use pine as the choice, since it has good quality), plywood, wheels of 3 to 4 inches in diameter, 3 angles irons, 4 eye bolts, t-hinge for brakes, 13 carriage bolts, 4 hexagonal head bolts, 11 washers, 20 nuts, sand paper and paint.

The Steps
First you have to put the handlebar and steering uprights together. Then bolt two angle irons on either side of the steering upright tops and bolt the handlebar securely on the angle irons. After that drill a hole from the bottom of the steering wheel upright, it should be enough to fit the bolt. Now put the bolt through the wheels and the hole in the steering wheel upright. Secure the ends of the bolt with two nuts. Nuts will lock against each other so there will be no loosening if any vibrations happen when the wooden radio flyer toddler scooter is in use. And then you need to screw two eye bolts on the inside of the steering wheel upright.

Then you make the running board by drilling three holes in the top of the running boards. Then you can bolt the runner board to the neck and add two eye bolts to the side of the neck. And you also need to bolt the neck to the steering uprights by lining up the eye bolts and threading a carriage bolt through the eye bolts. You have to tighten two nuts on the end of the bolts. Do not forget to insert carriage bolt through the eye bolts. Then to finish wooden radio flyer toddler scooter, screw the hinge to the back of the platform.
